KONTROVERSI QISHOSUL QUR’AN : STUDI KOMPARATIF PEMIKIRAN ORIENTALIS DAN PEMIKIRAN OKSIDENTALIS (THEODOR NOLDEKE DAN HASAN HANAFI)

The orientalist group has become a controversial topic and contradicts the thinking of Muslims, as was done by Theodor Noldeke with his thoughts that invited controversy by doubting the Qur'an as our holy Muslims, considering that the prophet Muhammad Saw. was a liar, even orientalist thought has become a scientific study that is still being studied by many academic actors. However, Muslim scientists are not just silent seeing the Western movement in this case represented by orientalists who criticize the Qur'an, as an effort to balance the thoughts of orientalism aroused Muslim thinkers to respond to the Western world criticizing the Eastern world, especially those aimed at Muslims, behind the birth of the thought of occidentalism as a resistance to face orientalism, so that Islam is not increasingly pushed aside by the deviant thoughts of orientalism. Thus, there is a need for Muslim movements in defending the truth of Islam, as has been done by Islamic thinkers, including one of the figures of occidentalism.
