SOCIAL TAUGHID AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIETY'S LIFE: AN ANALYSIS OF THE VALUES OF LIBERATION, JUSTICE, EQUALITY, AND BROTHERHOOD FROM AN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Tawhid is the core teaching of Islam, possessing not only a theological dimension but also a powerful social dimension. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Tawhid values in social life through the perspectives of liberation, justice, equality, and brotherhood. This study employed a qualitative method with a library research approach and descriptive-critical analysis of primary and secondary sources. The results show that Tawhid not only directs humanity towards devotion to Allah SWT but also fosters social awareness to reject all forms of oppression, discrimination, injustice, and dehumanization. Tawhid gives rise to an egalitarian, humanistic, and civilized society. Thus, Tawhid serves as a paradigm for social transformation in building a harmonious and just society.
